Evaro - Wellington

MusicHelps has supported the music therapy programme at Evaro by providing a valuable resource that allows us to contract a music therapist.

Evaro supports adults with intellectual, physical, and sensory disabilities. One on one and small group Music Therapy sessions helped provide participants with new skills, personal growth, improved self-esteem, increased communication potential, and personal wellbeing.

This is a valuable programme which makes a huge difference in the lives of the people we work with as can be demonstrated by a comment of a whanau member: “ From the changes I have seen in my son and his companions, music therapy has produced exceptionally positive change in the wellbeing and participation of a significantly large number of people.
